DEVELOPING LEADERS

UNDERSTAND WHAT'S WORKING

Individuals become better leaders when they pause to take stock of their preferences and past experiences in order to understand what is working in the current context and what is falling short of the desired outcome. Great leadership requires constant adaptation to the people you are leading and to the situation you are in. It’s a balancing act – not favoring one behavior too much and ignoring the opposite. Each stage of your career requires a re-thinking of leadership behaviors because different things are needed at different stages.

LEADERSHIP WORKSHOPS

In workshops with peer groups, we encourage appropriate dialogue among peers. In teams, we encourage the team to see its own leadership footprint. Unlike many providers, we work at multiple levels within organizations. For us, leadership development is all part of a life-long journey. Where we start isn’t the issue; the journey is the issue.

In coaching, we do this one-to-one with an individual.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Instead of sending people to a multi-day off-site leadership program, consider our development orientation product. The typical off-site program is on average 10 days in length at an off-site usually for 10 hours a day. With 25 participants, that’s a total of 2,500 work hours on a development program where most participants will walk away with 2 or 3 ideas to implement.  We have a more efficient and highly effective option that incorporates one-one coaching, a little content input and a separate networking opportunity among participants.  It is highly effective as a virtual program or as a face-face program.
