Leadership Forum announced on Friday that Annie Rodgers has joined the consultancy as a Partner. A highly-accomplished media professional with more 25 years of client service, Annie has worked across commercial and brand communications, leveraging consumer insight and developing top talent to build world-class brand propositions and organisations.
As an Executive Coach, Rodgers brings together her business and personal experience to assist teams and individuals who are seeking an equally rigorous and strategic approach to making change happen on a personal, team and organisational level. A member of the International Coach Federation, Annie works within ICF guidelines and accreditation requirements.
Before transitioning to coaching, Rodgers was a key architect behind the launch of YANGA! TV – a game-changing brand destination for the African diaspora in Britain today, and she continues to mentor key members of the team today. Prior to this, Annie led various commercial and brand strategy initiatives, notably for A&E Networks Europe, reporting to Global Head of Strategy and MD EMEA respectively. Before consulting, she served as Senior Vice President, Sales for Discovery Networks in Continental Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). Under her 4-year tenure at Discovery, revenue doubled under an aggressive local market development strategy with 25 channel launches from Turkey, Middle East, Germany, France, Romania, Hungary and Russia, including Discovery’s first Free to Air Channel in Germany, DMAX.
“We are so delighted to add a partner to strengthen and broaden our coaching ability,” said Dr. Wanda Wallace, President and CEO of Leadership Forum. Annie is the fourth partner and works alongside another dozen consultants. “We are most well-known now in financial and professional services, technology and manufacturing. We expect Annie’s deep knowledge of other sectors, including media, to help us reach new markets,” she added.
“Coaching began as a natural progression but has become a dedicated focus, leveraging my operational insights and personal experiences together with a longstanding passion for developing teams, individuals and improving the way businesses function. Joining such a globally respected partnership of thought leaders such as Wanda and Liam (Fahey) is a privilege, and I relish the opportunity to drive the organisation’s ambitions to change the way people work around the world,” said Rodgers.
